Leadership Team

Bishop Travis Allen

Founding Pastor

Born June 2nd, 1948 in Coolidge, TX, Pastor Allen, along with his mother (the late Missionary Almedia Cornish) and siblings took up roots in Dallas, TX. There they united with the Lighthouse C.O.G.I.C. (formerly Mt. Olive COGIC) under the leadership of the late Pastor Supt. Edward Calloway Sr.

Pastor Allen accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 10 years old and has been faithfully running for the Lord ever since. Becoming a skilled pianist and organist he served his home church as musician and choir director. Developing a heart for ministry through his service as a musician and being groomed and nurtured in the gospel by Pastor Calloway, Bishop Allen answered the Lord’s call to preach the Gospel. With a ministry of saving souls, being filled with the Holy Ghost, and teaching the unadulterated truth of the gospel Bishop Allen is a man after God’s own heart.

With a passion for education and learning, Bishop Allen obtained post-secondary degrees from both Christ For the Nations Institute as well as Southern Bible Institute of Dallas, TX with an advanced degree in theological studies.

Bishop Allen received his heavenly reward on September 10th, 2018. He leaves behind his wife Lady Delores Allen, and five children: Shannon, Faronda, Travis, Angelica and Timothy. As well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Overseeing church ministries in both Dallas and Ft. Worth throughout his 40+ years of pastoral ministry, Pastor Allen gave his life in service to God and his people. Bishop Allen fervently believed in the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ; and was committed to the mission of Paradise Christian Family Fellowship to “reconcile the lost back to God, build strong Christian families and make disciples of others.” He was always a devoted pastor and faithful servant!

Ministerial Team

Lady Delores Allen is a native of Henderson, TX. Lady Allen earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from Wiley College in Marshall, TX and is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Relocating to Dallas, TX after graduating, Lady Allen served for many years as a Dallas County Sheriff. She was one of the first black female sheriff’s in Dallas County. Known as “officer Paige,” Lady Allen developed a reputation with the inmates as being a firm and tough, yet caring woman. They knew “officer Paige” didn’t play. Being invited to a musical by a friend, Lady Allen was introduced to the Paradise Kingdom COGIC family (now Paradise Christian Family Fellowship Church). She continued to attend after the musical, was saved and received the gift of the Holy Ghost; and she has been on fire for the Lord ever since.

Lady Allen is passionate about God and his people. She is the First Lady of Paradise Christian Family Fellowship Church, where she stands beside her husband, faithfully serving God and ministering to his flock. Lady Allen has a heart for women and serves as the overseer of the Daughter’s of Zion Women’s Ministry.

Though firm when it comes to the word of God, Lady Allen is a joy to all who encounter her. Due to her outgoing personality, she never meets a stranger and is always attempting to put a smile on someone’s face. God is continuing to use her to encourage, equip and empower women to reach their utmost potential in Jesus Christ. It is her desire that all women understand their purpose and become the epitome of true holy women.

Continuing the legacy left by her husband, Lady Delores Allen is a dedicated servant of God and stands as a testament of what a Proverbs 31 woman should be.
